Privacy policy

The information used by the Legacy Dance Consulting website, why it is needed and how to contact us about privacy.

Working draft. This describes the current website features. The school still needs to confirm storage locations, providers and retention periods; this is not final consent to personal data processing.

1. Website and data operator

The website and portal are operated by ТОО «Legacy Dance Consulting», BIN 260340009958. Contact details appear below. This policy covers public pages, the family account and enquiries through the school’s listed contact channels.

You can browse public pages without an account. An adult parent or legal guardian creates an account for a child. Visiting the website does not grant permission for advertising or publication of a child’s information.

2. Information used

The account stores the holder’s name, email, optional phone number, and information needed for sign-in and contact verification. A dancer profile needs a name, date of birth, link to the account and whether the profile is for the holder or a child. A student photo is optional.

The portal stores applications, audition correspondence, teacher decisions, groups, schedules, attendance, orders, passes, tickets and staff action records. Registration records the version, text and time of the document acknowledgements.

If you contact the school by email, phone or messenger, it receives the information you provide. Do not send passwords, card details, identity documents or health information unless the school separately explains why they are needed and provides a secure way to send them.

3. Purposes

Information supports account access, replies to enquiries, age-group selection, auditions, tuition administration, pass and ticket checks, account protection and troubleshooting.

A student card photo helps staff identify the dancer. It is not added to the public media library. Publishing photos, marketing messages or sharing information with competition organisers requires separately defined purposes and grounds; registration does not grant that permission.

4. Access and external services

Family information is available to the account holder and authorised staff within their roles. Teachers work with students and applications for their own groups. Staff cannot view passwords in the portal.

Following a WhatsApp, map, social network or email link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy terms. Its provider may process information outside Kazakhstan. The embedded OpenStreetMap loads only after you select “Show map”, sharing technical connection information, including your IP address, with its provider. This action does not enable analytics. Before approving this policy, the school must confirm the complete list of technical providers and the terms for sharing information with them.

5. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small browser records. Necessary cookies support sign-in and selected preferences, such as language and theme. They do not constitute permission for advertising. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent account sign-in. The ldc-consent cookie remembers your choice for 180 days; ldc-theme stores the theme for one year.

Optional Google Analytics 4 is disabled by default. If configured by the school, it can load only after your separate permission. Declining does not prevent browsing or account use. You can change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

When analytics is allowed, Google receives technical connection information and public-page visit data. The website does not send names, emails, children’s data, form contents or account-page contents in analytics events. Google may process information outside Kazakhstan; the school must check the service settings and grounds for transfer before enabling it. Withdrawal stops future website analytics but does not automatically erase information already sent. The _ga and _ga_* analytics cookies are configured for up to 180 days.

6. Storage and protection

The portal provides role-based access, protected sessions and sign-in attempt limits. These measures do not replace the school’s organisational responsibilities.

The production database and backup locations, provider list and retention periods by data category are not yet confirmed for the final policy. We do not claim these settings have been verified. Before approval, the school must determine them with regard to Kazakhstan’s storage requirements, processing purposes and mandatory records.

7. Access, correction and deletion

Email ldc@pkf.kz to request information about processing, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent. Include your account email and request; for a child’s information, state your relationship to them. Do not attach identity documents in advance. If authority needs verification, the school should explain what is necessary and how to send it.

The school handles deletion and withdrawal; sending an email or signing out does not delete information automatically. If there are lawful grounds to retain some records, the school should explain what remains and why. The request procedure and retention periods must be approved before the final policy is published.

8. Updates

The revision date appears at the top. Changes to this public policy do not rewrite saved registration acknowledgements. If a new purpose requires separate consent, updating website text does not replace it.
